Biography
Hazel Brown was born in london, grew up in Devon,
United Kingdom and has always been drawn to Nature.
Living by the sea as a child, she frequent walked to
the beach looking for mermaids, she was sure they were
hiding behind rocks or sunning themselves in the shallow
rock-pools.
 When
Hazel first encountered Faeries, they appeared to her
as tiny specks of light with movement, on a strand of
infinitesimally fine energy.
They appear in many forms, and bring with them messages
for us, if we'll listen.
Letting her hand draw freely, a tapestry of creatures
will emerge, elves, goblins, faeires, pixies and also
characters she has never encountered before, weaving
their way into the drawing.
These characters peep from behind lichen covered boulders,
or sit squarely on old toadstools, staring out at her
from the page.
 Hazel's
life has been an incredible journey, not only on this
earth, but also to the many exciting visits to The Land
of Faerie.

sometimes all too brief, sometimes powerful, even mischievious
